TubaChristmas
Sunday, December 6, 2009
TubaChristmas was conceived in 1974 as a tribute to the late artist/teacher William J. Bell, born on Christmas Day, 1902. Today, TubaChristmas is presented in 200 cities throughout the United States, Canada and Switzerland. Admission is FREE! Seating is limited but there is plenty of room to stand.
A free community event presented by the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts! This hour-long event, conducted by Neal Haglund, takes place in the Lorene Harrison Lobby every year. Whether it’s the best decorated tuba or the festive atmosphere that gets you excited for TubaChristmas, a good time is always had by all. Come and join us next year at The Center to have a tremendous TubaChristmas season!
