Your gifts make a difference!
This building continues to serve as a beacon in our community where all can feel welcome. The myriad of smiling faces that visit and use the facility each year are truly inspiring. There is something here for everyone! We are grateful that individuals like you demonstrate how much you value the importance of the arts in all of our lives by giving to ACPA's Annual Campaign.
Cash is the easiest and most common way to donate! Cash gifts can be recognized and implemented quickly and allow you, as the donor, tax-deductible advantages for the year in which your gift is given. ACPA accepts cash, checks and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), and provides written confirmation for all gifts.
Your gift payment can be arranged for whatever schedule works best for you: annually, monthly, quarterly, or by any arrangement you prefer. We can even set up automatic renewals!

In January, when you apply for your Permanent Fund Dividend, you will have a new opportunity to give to your favorite Alaska nonprofit organizations. The PFD Charitable Contributions Program begins with our 2009 dividend. It provides a safe and secure way to make a donation, and it's available to all Alaskans who file on-line. When you go on-line to sign up for your dividend, you will see the option called "The Gift of Giving." Click and follow the instructions to make a donation.
You may give all or part of your dividend, whatever is appropriate for you and your family. We simply encourage you to give.
More than 330 organizations qualified for the program this year, so you're likely to find one you already support, including Alaska Center for the Performing Arts!
Annual Campaign
Your support also helps to cover the cost of day-to-day operations and maintenance of this four-theatre complex that hosts over 240,000 visitors annually. Operating costs include everything from the electric bill to janitorial services. Your contributions reach every corner of the facility!
ACPA depends on charitable support for 7% of its operating income. Your donation helps us to support the vast selection of programming that comes to the Center through our Resident Companies and all facility users each year. Your gifts also support our ever-growing education and community programs. The ACPA is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means your gift is fully tax-deductible as allowed by law, less any benefits you choose to redeem.
By your contribution, big or small, through an annual or planned gift, you will help us continue:
- To support our local resident performing arts companies;
- To welcome the world’s finest performing artists into our community;
- To provide invaluable arts education programming for our children; and
- To ensure Alaskans have a cultural center and a rich quality of life for years to come.
Matching Gifts
Does the company you work for have a Matching Gift Program? Matching Gifts allow individuals to increase their level of giving, to charities of their choosing, through a partnership with their employer/corporation. It’s usually as simple as including a form with your individual contribution. When received, the charitable organization completes and sends the form back to your organization and a matching gift is then made!
Traditional matching gifts are contributions from a corporate employer that match contributions to a charitable organization by a corporate employee, executive or officer. Financial contributions can also be made to match an employee’s volunteer efforts.
