TubaChristmas was conceived in 1974 as a tribute to the late artist/teacher William J. Bell, born on Christmas Day 1902. Today, TubaChristmas is presented in 200 cities throughout the United States, Canada and Switzerland. Admission is FREE!
Seating is limited but there is plenty of room to stand.
A free community event presented by the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts! This hour-long event, conducted by Neal Haglund, takes place in the Lorene Harrison Lobby every year. Whether it’s the best decorated tuba or the festive atmosphere that gets you excited for TubaChristmas, a good time is always had by all. Come and join us at The Center to have a tremendous TubaChristmas season!

Get into the holiday spirit with the Air Force Band of the Pacific’s Concert, SOUNDS OF THE SEASON. This family event features bands, Alaska Brass and Top Cover. There's also rumored to be an appearance by a special guest from the North Pole. Join in the holiday fun at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts! Admission is FREE!
